Garment printing
Bold colour on fabric — DTF and screen print for the pieces made to be worn loud.
The craft
Colour that keeps up
Garment printing puts your design onto fabric in full colour. DTF (direct-to-film) prints the artwork onto a film that's heat-pressed into the garment — perfect for detail, gradients and even photographs, with no minimum run. Screen printing pushes ink through a stencil layer by layer — the classic, soft-to-the-touch finish that comes into its own on bigger groups.
Between the two, almost any design is possible: hen party tees with an in-joke across the front, matching crew hoodies, and the wedding-day merch everyone actually wants to wear.
Best for
A little deeper
Two prints, one standard
DTF, the detail lover
Direct-to-film handles what other methods can't: fine lines, gradients, photos and tiny text, in unlimited colours — printed from one piece up, so small groups aren't penalised.
Screen print, the classic
Ink laid through a stencil, one colour at a time. Bold, rich and beautifully soft on the fabric — and the best value when the whole party is getting one.
Colour & placement
Front, back, sleeve or chest pocket — and colours matched to your palette. We'll recommend DTF or screen based on your design and your numbers, so you never have to guess.
Print or embroidery?
The honest answer: it depends on the piece. Here's how we'd decide — and if you're still not sure, just ask.
Choose printing when…
- The design has fine detail, gradients or photographic elements
- There's small text or delicate linework
- It's a light tee with a big, bold front graphic
- It's a fun, one-weekend piece and budget matters
Embroidery might suit better when…
- It's a keepsake meant to be worn for years
- You want raised texture and a premium, tactile finish
- The fabric is structured or plush — robes, heavy sweatshirts, towels
- The design is a bold name, monogram or simple motif

The best things to print
Printing loves smooth fabric and big ideas — the louder the design, the better it sings.
Crew hoodies
Bride crew, groom squad, the whole wedding party — matching and worn all weekend.
T-shirts & tops
Photo prints, illustrated designs, dates and hashtags — if you can draw it, DTF can print it.

Good to know
What artwork do you need from me?
Anything from a finished design to a rough idea — we redraw and prepare everything in-house, so you don't need print-ready files.
DTF or screen print — how do I choose?
You don't have to — tell us the design and how many you need, and we'll recommend the better fit. Broadly: DTF for detail and small runs, screen for bold designs in bigger numbers.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum — we embroider single pieces as happily as full bridal parties.
Can you print on items I supply?
We accept supplied garments with the note that embroidery is permanent and supplied items are stitched at the owner's risk.
How do printed pieces wash?
Wash inside out at 30° and skip the tumble dryer where you can — cared for like that, a good DTF or screen print stays bright for years.
